The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund
The program will award grants totaling $150,000 to nonprofit organizations serving Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park, Virginia.
Proposals should address one or more of the following general focus areas
Programs that promote physical and mental health through access to care, preventive services, wellness programs, and community-based health initiatives.
Programs that ensure reliable access to affordable, nutritious, and culturally relevant food through food banks, community gardens, and nutrition education.
Projects that protect natural resources, promote renewable energy, and build community resilience to environmental and climate challenges.
Programs that build stronger, more connected communities by supporting initiatives that foster trust, belonging, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Programs that support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through workforce reintegration, mental health, housing stability, and community connection.
Through our partnership with Amazon, we're able to provide significant funding to nonprofit organizations throughout Prince William County. This collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to building thriving communities where people can live, work, and grow.

The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund is a partnership between Amazon and the Prince William County Community Foundation, dedicated to strengthening our local community through strategic grantmaking.
To invest in nonprofit organizations that create lasting positive impact in Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park.
We serve the diverse communities of Prince William County, supporting initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all residents.
Through strategic partnerships and thoughtful grantmaking, we support programs that address critical community needs and create sustainable change.
This fund represents a collaboration between Amazon and the Prince William County Community Foundation to support local nonprofits working in critical areas including health and wellness, food security, environmental sustainability, social cohesion, and veterans services.
The Prince William County Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, publicly supported organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all residents of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park through strategic philanthropy and community leadership.

The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund is committed to investing in our County's nonprofits and supporting their work. Eligible projects must meet the following criteria:

The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund does not make grants to organizations that, in their constitution, bylaws or practices, discriminate against a person or group because of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

Note: Grantees may target services to a particular population when the targeted groups require specialized programs to meet specific needs not shared by the general population. Religious organizations providing non-religious community services will be considered.
The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund's grantmaking process consists of 7 components:
The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund requires nonprofits to submit their grant application in our online grant system. Additional information may be requested once your application is reviewed.
The Amazon Prince William County Community Fund conducts a comprehensive due diligence process for all grants. The Foundation's Grants Committee conducts the grant reviews. Final funding decisions are made by the Prince William County Community Foundation's Grants Committee and Amazon staff.
The Prince William County Community Foundation's Grants Committee Director will contact all applicants regarding the Committee's funding decisions.
Approved recipients sign agreement with terms and conditions
To expedite grantmaking, all Amazon Prince William County Community Fund grant payments are made electronically by ACH transmittal. Nonprofits receiving grant awards must submit their agency's banking information to the Prince William County Community Foundation's Finance Officer to initiate the transfer of grant funds.
Grant recipients may receive one on-site/virtual site visit and/or check-in call over the course of the funding period. Organizations should be prepared to discuss progress toward the goals and outcomes they stated in their application. Virtual site visits may be used for future foundation marketing.
Final reports are submitted online, using the Prince William County Community Foundation's grants platform. Organizations are asked to discuss the impact of their program, measure outcomes against their proposed outcomes and lessons learned along the way. Final Reports must be submitted within 30 days of the end of the grant term.
If approved, all grant recipients must sign an agreement that includes the following requirements:
In most cases, grants are for ten month to one-year periods. Your award letter will include information about grant requirements like a check-in call and final reporting.
